9 MOST IMPORTANT RULES OF BUSINESS/FORMAL DRESSING




Whenever you are in a situation where you have to go to an important appointment, promotion, seminar or something that expects a formal approach, take a look at some of these very important rules to leave an appropriate and decent impression.

 

  1.
 Covered shoulders and thighs
 
One of the most important rules of business dressing is not to reveal your shoulders and thighs. This includes excessive cleavage. Instead sleeveless shirts, choose a shirt with short sleeves or wear anything without sleeves, and then switch over a jacket or cardigan.
 

  2.
 2 fingers above the knee
 
This rule applies to the length of women's skirts or dresses. This is the length of which is considered appropriate for business dress. All that is shorter than that is not appropriate.  
One little thing - always make sure that the color of your socks is lighter than skirts / dresses.
 

  3.
 Without revealed toes
 
Do not be put in an awkward situation and come to an important meeting in the open toes shoes. It is extremely rude. Open heel is still tolerated, but not the fingers.
 

4.
  Expensive jewelery after 6 pm
 
Another important rule that many business people do not know. Expensive jewelry, such as a family legacy, gems, pearls, etc. have to be worn after 6 pm. In addition, for job interviews, meetings with supervisors and business partners, presentations or lectures always choose thin watches as it leaves a better impression.

 Tied hair

If your job requires business dress code, never, absolutely never ever go to work / business commitments with untied hair. Business dress requires tied hair, no matter whether it is a bun, tail or hair coupled with pins.

  Avoid red

The red color in business dressing is recommended to avoid. It symbolizes power and is pretty aggressive so the smartest thing is to wear a different color if you go to a meeting with your superiors.


7.
  Without labels

Forget about all kinds of prints that advertise something or have some kind of a message because it is considered rude, no matter what they says. Exception is your company clothes.


8.
  Dark jeans

If you are allowed to wear jeans at work, make sure that they are dark. Bright jeans make you "foolish" and do not fit in a businesslike look.


9.
  Natural make-up

This rule you have heard many times. No matter if you think you look awful with minimal makeup, do not overdo it. Quality basis, a maximum of two coats of mascara, eyeshadow in earth tones, blush for a healthy look and lip gloss in some light shades will be more than enough.

The second part of the formal dress code applies to the colors, what they say about you, or what color to wear, and which to avoid. This post will have combinations that I made to make show you better how you should use a certain color in your business wear.









Kad god se nalazite u situaciji da morate otići na neki važan sastanak, promociju, seminar ili nešto što očekuje formalan pristup, zavirite u ovih nekoliko vrlo bitnih pravila kako bi ostavili prigodan i pristojan dojam.



1.
 Pokrivena ramena i bedra

Jedno od najvažnijih pravila u poslovnom odijevanju je ne otkrivati ramena i bedra. To uključuje i pretjeran dekolte. Umjesto majice bez rukava radije odaberite košulju kratkih rukava ili odjenite nešto bez rukava,a preko toga prebacite sako ili vestu.


2. 
2 prsta iznad koljena

Ovo se pravilo odnosi na dužinu ženske suknje ili haljine. To je dužina za koju se smatra da je primjerena za poslovno odijevanje. Sve što je kraće od tog nije primjereno. Još jedna sitnica - uvijek pazite da je boja čarapa svjetlija od boje suknje/haljine.


3.
 Bez otkrivenih nožnih prstiju

Mnogo ljudi procjenjuje druge po cipelama koje nose. Nemojte se dovesti u neugodnu situaciju i doći na neki bitan sastanak u cipelama otvorenih prstiju. To je izrazito nepristojno. Otvorena peta se još tolerira, ali prsti nikako.


4. 
Skupocjen nakit nakon 6 popodne

Još jedno važno pravilo za koje mnogi poslovni ljudi ne znaju. Skupocjen nakit poput obiteljske ostavštine, dragulja, bisera itd. nosi se nakon 6 popodne. Osim toga, za razgovore za posao, sastanke s nadređenima i poslovnim partnerima, prezentacije ili predavanja uvijek birajte tanke satove jer ostavljate bolji i ozbiljniji dojam.
 


 5.
 Svezana kosa

Ako vaš posao zahtijeva poslovni dress code, nikad, ali baš nikad nemojte otići na posao/poslovne obveze raspuštene kose. Poslovno odijevanje zahtijeva svezanu kosu, bez obzira hoće li to biti punđa, rep ili kosa prikopčana ukosnicama.


6.
 Izbjegavajte crveno

Crvenu boju u poslovnom odijevanju preporučeno je izbjegavati. Ona simbolizira moć i prilično je agresivna stoga je najpametnije odjenuti neku drugu boju ukoliko idete na sastanak s nadređenima.


7. 
Bez natpisa

Zaboravite na sve vrste printeva koji reklamiraju nešto ili iznose neku poruku jer se to smatra nepristojinim, bez obzira na to što govori. Iznimka su odjeća vaše firme kojom je promovirate.


8.
 Tamne traperice

Ukoliko vam je na poslu dopušteno casual poslovno odijevanje i smijete obući traperice, pripazite da su one što tamnije. Svijetle traperice djeluju neozbiljno i ne uklapaju se u poslovan look.


9. 
Prirodan make-up

Ovo pravilo ste čuli puno puta, no neki ga se i dalje ne drže. Bez obzira na to što mislite da izgledate strašno s minimalno šminke, nemojte pretjerati. Kvalitetna podloga, maksimalno dva sloja maskare, sjenila u zemljanim tonovima, rumenilo za zdrav izgled i sjajilo neke svijetle nijanse bit će i više nego dovoljno.

Drugi dio formalnog odijevanja odnosi se na boje, što govore o vama, tj. koje boje nositi, a koje izbjegavati.
